Rangamati Lake


Rangamati is a district in South-eastern Bangladesh. It is a part of the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the urban of Rangamati attends as the headquarters of the constituency. Area-wise, Rangamati is the major district of the nation.
Rangamati is situated in the Chittagong Division. The whole area of the district is 6116.13 sq km. It is surrounded by the Tripura national of India to the north, Bandarban District to the south, Mizoram State of India and Chin State of Myanmar to the east, and Khagrachari and Chittagong Districts to the west.
It’s a amalgamation of Hill- Lake-Plain property The area of the district is 6116.13 km2 of which 1291.5 km2 is riverine and 4824.63 km2.is under plantation undergrowth and the river area is about 650 km2.
