Chittagong Hill Tracts


The Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) encompassing an area of 13,180 km2 in south-eastern Bangladesh, is the only hill exhaustive area of Bangladesh. CHT involving Rangamati, Khagrachari and Bandarban districts is home-based to country's main attention of at least 11 different cultural sets and is a sole part of the country both in footings of countryside and its folks. The cultural groups are sure calm by a public antiquity, years of nonviolent cohabitation, and a mutual coming. They differ from the popular Bengali populace of Bangladesh in their corporal skins, nation and faith.
